Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role,you will operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures,supporting accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. Your expertise in medical imaging technology,patient safety,and anatomy will ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diagnostic radiology excellence within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Shift- Monday to Friday Dayshift with NO CALL and NO WEEKENDS!
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process,ensuring their comfort,and addressing any concerns with clear communication.
Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently,following equipment safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines to produce precise diagnostic images.
Acquire high-quality images for various diagnostic evaluations,including anatomy assessments and physiological studies,ensuring images meet clinical standards.
Maintain strict adherence to patient safety regulations and aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent contamination and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for storing,retrieving,and transmitting medical images securely.
Assist in the calibration,maintenance,and safety checks of MRI equipment to guarantee operational integrity and staff safety.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnosis through effective image acquisition and interpretation support.
Requirements
Proven experience operating MRI scanners with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Proficiency in IV insertion,patient safety protocols,and maintaining aseptic technique during procedures.
Solid understanding of human anatomy,physiology,and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
Ability to operate medical equipment safely while adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and providing compassionate patient care.
Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image management is preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
